We camped in Devil's Garden Campground in Arches Natl Park. There is a reservation website I think it's called reserveusa.com (but I'm not sure)
We were there for a few days then moved to Deadhorse Point State Park Campground (Utah State Park) it's near Canyonlands National Park. Both are great campgrounds.. It's probably better to go now than when we went a few weeks ago. Its hot out there. I think May and October are the best months for lower heat.. First time I had been there. Great place for 4 wheeling..

Front: Old Man Emu 90000 dampers and 885 coils with the 3/4" top-spacer plate.
Back: Old Man Emu N182 dampers and Dakar leaf pack with D29XL AAL.

The tires are Goodyear Duratrac 265/70/17 and I am running Spidertrax wheel spacers. I am very happy with the setup.

What is the year and size is that Airstream? Do you have more photos and specs of the trailer? Sorry to pose the question on this thread, but I guess its sort of similar with the trailer being silver. Very beautiful scenery and rig and trailer.

Here is a pic from last year at the top of Monarch Pass..
The Airstream is a 19' Bambi. it weighs 3400. The Tacoma pulls it pretty easily in my opinion.
There are guys on the towing bible thread that say "no way" to pulling something that big with a tacoma. One guy says you should not pull anything larger than a small utility trailer with it.
I will say if I was living full time in a trailer, I'd probably go with a bigger truck, but to use it for eight days towing (2 trips, 2 days each way) per year.. Plus several weekend trips per year. The Tacoma handles it fine. 65 to 70 mph all day long. Over all the passes in CO on highway 70 or 50..
I guess I'm ranting, but I can't see getting a tundra and driving a larger truck, with worse mpg all year long to be on the "safer" side..
    OK, rant over.
The A/S is a 2004, we love it. Completely self contained for a one week trip. We aren't big on generators, or taking tv with us while camping.
    Hope I answered your questions..
    Jeff

Thanks buddy- the SC was one of my first mods (after the lift). It really wakes this engine up!

Where in Missouri are you? Do you 4 wheel around here? Or, head out west? If you went to CO, would you drive it out there or trailer it?
Just curious.. Also, the SC, what happened to the mpg? The extra power would be great.. Nice mods!

I'm in Jefferson City. Not much out here but we've had it to CO a few times- drove it there. We're more into overlanding and exploring than true rock crawling. I got 17-18 mpg with it before the bumpers- last tank was 15 mpg but I just installed the DT long tube headers and had been getting on it quite a bit! I'll drive like a normal human and see what mpg I get now.
