I put this on my KC Gravity fogs and initially thought, yeah that's pretty good. Now having had them on a few times I've pulled it off. Nothing about how it presents the light, but they just don't seem to fit. There was white light leaking around the edges and it's not that I didn't do everything to center it on installation. Seems like they are a bit to small. It's not worth it to me to go back to Lamin-x (lol but I can bitch here) just wondering if others have found the same or did I just not apply with extra care?

Also got a set of lamin-ex covers on my fog-lights, all good no issues.

I did remove the fog-light housing prior to install to ensure I got full coverage from the lamin-ex

Dunno about the Taco version, but I've yellow Lamin-X on my WRX fog lights for 4 years and it fits great. I was originally skeptical about putting a film over a convex surface, but somehow it installed without bubbles or folds.

Were the films designed for the stock fog lights and you applied them to aftermarket ones? That might be the reason for the poor fitment.

My passenger fog got wrecked by a rock. I started with the dark smoke but switched to yellow. Big improvement there. No issues with coverage or light leaks.

That is what you want for fog.
