What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Any idea whom make the oil for COSTCO. Just curious. They probably get a good price because of the volume they will sell nationwide. I would do it just want to know the brand.

 

You know, I was going to respond to the "RIP Ride Quality" comment because I thought it was keyboard warrior-ish. I have a spacer lift on my 2014 TRD Off Road and the ride quality is great. You could buy the Bilstein 5100s for the front, which preload your springs, but my guess is that that would be more of a hit to your ride quality than a top spacer on stock suspension. I loved the way my truck rode stock and I didn't want it to change. That's why I did the spacer lift. My ride quality is still fantastic. And, I do some mild off-roading, nothing hardcore so the spacer lift has been fine for a couple of years now.
Any time someone one her mentions a spacer lift, out come the flames. You'd think we were kissing our sisters or showering in our socks.......

Try spreading cayenne pepper around, seems to help keep them from crapping in my mulch. I’m about to resort to a little harsher methods cause most of my shitty neighbors let their pets run loose. I’m tired of everyone’s pets crapping on my property.

 

There can be a ot of negativity on here at times. I never have understood that. As far as I ever care you could paint your (your meaning whoever the owner is) truck purple and have pink wheels. It's your truck do what makes you happy and if it works for you COOL. Are there bennifits to say 5100's over a spacer. yep but that also depends on how you set them up. If you bump the clip up and use stock springs you preload the coils like a spacer lift does. If you leave the clip on the "0" setting and use coils that lift then it will ride better and there is no loss of down travel. But again, do what works for you and be happy life is too short not to be

 

I reinstalled my stock halogen headlight bulbs cuz I couldn’t see anything with the led bulbs I got on black Friday from Auxbeam Kinda expected it, but I was curious.

Might be just what I want and still fit in the garage and under the down trees on the trails.

They will send you 4 relocation brackets for the radiator. You can barely note that there is a gap over the it and does not affect anything. The work is easy to do, just a bit tedious. You have to take apart many things and that takes some time.

We used to make rubber skirts to close the gaps inside the fenders and above the rear bumper.

How about your front bumper? Any issues there?

 

Yes, I have bigger splash guards! The front bumper stretches, but you have to loosen some of the screws below and push it up a bit to close the gap. The front gap is around 1/4 or less, but it will end up having almost nothing if you play with it. Just look at mine!

 

By pass oil filter return...filters 8% flow of the system, into a 2 micron filter ...98% efficient (OEM filter usually rated around 20 microns, human hair = 75 microns =/-)

I'll have to try the cayenne pepper out, I've never heard about it. My neighbor has 3 outdoor cats so unless I see which one it is I can't really do anything about it yet. The cats are friendly, I never pet them or feed them, I just might have to pet one and take it for a nice long ride to the animal shelter.

 

As you can see the front gap could be fixed. The gap of the rear bumper is not big deal in the 2nd gen, but I am not sure how it's going to look on the 3rd gen. I say go for it! But never go bigger than a 1 inch BL.

 

My neighbor has 7 and it's a guarantee paw prints will be all over the place in the morning but that's ok because I'm moving soon.
