I've tried lots of tire shine products over the years. I have yet to find anything as good as Meguiar's endurance gel (purple liquid). I apply it with one of those cheap foam applicators, let it sit maybe half an hour to try a bit, then give it a second coat and my tires stay gorgeous for WEEKS. Try it out. (and it smells like grapes!)

Two-three times a week at the higher end car wash with my unlimited pass. I have to go on a job-site on a 3.5 mile dirt road in all kinds of weather. The carwash does an under carriage blast. Once in awhile I'll do it in the driveway to get the nooks and crannies better. 4 times a year I hand wax it. It's 10 years old and black and still looks pretty good.

I use a little bit of everything but mostly chemical guys and opti products (good spray on sealants and protectants like 303). I also will power wash but not often as its obviously harsh on the paint/clearcoat, so 2 bucket hand wash method, foam cannons are fun, but kind of a pointless step since you still need to handwash. I'll decontaminate, clay, polish once or twice a year, and throw on my spray on sealant every 3-4 months.

There is a whole thread in the garage section for this. And of course fluid film every fall. Its a delicate balance you can actually over wash your car and most auto / self ones are harsh on paint even if they are touchless (pH of the soap used).

I've had ceramic pro on a few trucks as well as PPF but looking back it was money wasted. Which I'm sure many will argue. Anything is better than most people these days, don't think too much into it.

Live in mtn town so lots of dirt roads in summer and snow in winters. Try to give some sort of wash weekly. Use an electric power washer with 40 degree or higher nozzle, meguiars soap and foam cannon. Basically, give a solid rinse (including under carriage), foam cannon (let sit for five minutes or so), two bucket with micro fiber sponge, final rinse, micro fiber drying. Waxing twice a year with meguiars dark color wax. Plan to clay bar twice a year before each wax. Meguiars tire gel few times a year. Some weeks I just power wash rinse, foam cannon, rinse and then let air dry in garage. Takes less than 20 minutes. Will not touch with towels unless I have used the micro fiber sponge. Hope this helps. Happy to provide product info if anyone wants them.

I go to a coin wash a mile from the house. I do the pre soak, high pressure soap, rinse, hot foam wax, rinse again, then spot free rinse. Never touch it with a brush. Then I drove home and do the tires and windows and dry off any left over water. Then Chemical Guys spray wax/cleaner between washes.

Seriously, it will dry your paint. Your paint is like your skin. Let it dry out and it doesn't feel very good, so put some good wax on it and help your paint.

Here you go. I had a difficult time deciding whether to spend $39 for a microfiber towel, however after using found it to be one of the best automotive care products values I've purchased. 30"x50"

Here's another amazing care-care product. Have you ever picked up your vehicle from the shop and found black grease tracked all over your carpet and fabric upholstery?
This is the only stuff I've ever found to completely remove it without risk of damage/discoloration of fabric. Great for cleaning filthy floor mats, we use it for cleaning stains from our home carpet as well.

I use it on everything except leather. Not cheap, but items that actually work typically aren't.

Thanks I'm looking for something right now!!- My wife owns and daily drives a GMC High Top Conversion (Explorer) van - it has very nice carpeting but we have recently got some stains in the back area where we loaded some dirty tack (we own a horse farm). A local guy wants 250 to detail the car - he said he can get the stains out. I'll give this a shot...unless it is too hard HA!.

Dura Gloss is a smaller company compared to the giants of care-care products so it's not as easy to find in retain stores, though CarQuest/Advanced Auto stores typically have it. I usually get it on-line from AutoGeek or Amazon. It should cost about $10, $11 for a can.
