What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Finally put in BD onx6 20” bar after having it since summer. Full wiring and full functionality to come Christmas 2020

 

FYI, there's a guy in El Cajon that has 5 Nitto Grapplers for sale, 285/70R17, they're in great shape.

Finished installing full OME 3" lift. Still need to add bumper but pretty wrecked from installing this the last day and a half straight, gonna wait a couple days on it. Whatcha all think?

I got 4 used tires with half the tread life left for less than the price of 1 new tire. Perfect timing for me too.

I have been on here for quite a while and never have understood the negetivity. When i look at somebody elses truck I try to be positive even id it isn't my particular taste I try to find something to make a positive comment about. Or as Grandpa told me, "Boy if you don't have anything nice to say keep that mouth shut." He has his right to his opinion and I can respect that and understand he didn't have a favorable experience with them but that in no ways means the products are bad.

 

Look at crashnburns pod light test. You'll see just how "bright" they are

 

All I'll say is, for a company that large having such a huge quality hit or miss issue, it just speaks for itself you get what you pay for

I'm not debating anybody's test. All the proof I need is on my truck and functioning fantastically. I also won't come on here and tell anyone that what equipment they have is crap. I don't care if their 5 year old made a light for them in preschool and it isn't any brighter than a flashlight it isn't my place to tell anybody that something they are happy with is unworthy. Just not my way of doing things

To summarize, you owned a 32" caliraised led bar, as well as their fogs. You wired them up and they didn't work, and they quickly responded on here with the easy fix. Then they got condensation a few months later, and they replaced them for free under warranty. Then you bought some ditch lights from them which eventually got condensation as well and they replaced them for free.

You were then able to get some rigids, and now just talk shit about caliraisedled regardless of their great customer service. Am I missing anything?

Actually false and false. They both filled up with water and condensation and the powder coat started to chip away and rust within the first 6 months. I didnt buy there ditch lights because auxbeam sells the same thing for 100 bucks less. Those are surprisingly working fine. I got tired of dealing with a shitty looking light bar and bought a nice one. I never thrashed there customer service. Just the quality of a product

 

Wired up the axxess aswc-1 to the headunit and i now have oem steering wheel controls. My Tacoma never had it, so piecing all the necessary parts and to have it working is very satisfying.
