    Speaking of being in the motor, I'm wondering about doing head work and what could be gained there. My builder says with forced induction setups a 1:1 for intake to exhaust valve sizing is preferred. For naturally aspirated exhaust is usually 80% of the intake in size. Our intake valves measure 36.5mm, exhaust 29.5mm. Finding 1mm over is easy. And I might have found 2mm over for exhaust valves but I need to do more research. Anyone want to throw a wild number out there as to how much would/might be gained by going 2mm over in the exhaust and or intake?

    Springs are slightly shorter, come with a fancy washer like piece to get the length correct. No they don't come with retainers

    Belt still not on. Haven't been motivated to install it - roads have been so icy that it doesn't matter. Procrastination maybe but I'm justifying it by saying I'm doing tuning for minus 10 to zero manifold vacuum conditions.

    I did my first oil change. No metal flakes came out and there wasn't any metal filings on the drain plug magnet. I guess I did the install correctly.
