Alright, so I have a 2007 DCLB, with the factory 6 disc changer, non-JBL. I'm just looking to get Bluetooth and USB input, and I've found a factory 2014 unit on the cheap ($45). I found a USB cable on Fleabay (ships from China for only $6) that plugs into the new factory head unit, so that's solved. This leaves me with only 2 issues:

First, as I'm sure you all know, my factory '07 unit has the radio trim bezel that's enormous, and holds the clock and hazard switch. The 2014 radio isn't coming with the bezel. Does anyone know if an aftermarket '07 double-din install kit (Scosche or Metra) will work for installing the factory '14 head unit? The brackets that come with them are plastic, so mounting the head unit should be easy enough, but is the opening the correct size? If not, any clue where I can get the part number for the factory bezel so I can see if the cost is going to outweigh the benefits of this project?

Second, does anyone know which pins on the factory head unit are for the factory mic for handsfree? Replacing my mirror with a factory piece that includes the mic seems like it would be cost prohibitive, so I'd likely just want to add an aftermarket microphone. Suggestions?

The '14 head unit is only $45, is touch screen, appears to have the XM piece with it, so seems like if I can get the remainder of the pieces I need at a reasonable price, it's worth doing. It doesn't have NAV, but I use Waze on my phone anyway, so not a big deal to me.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I can confirm that the Metra kit is NOT the same size opening. You’re better off finding a used radio trim I would assume. Unless you want to heavily modify the Metra piece

As for a factory part number, I don’t believe the bezel was available by itself. I think it was only the whole radio/bezel.
