I usually average 19 mpg but that's all local driving for short periods.

I always use premium. Imho I notice the difference between Regular and Premium in almost any car or truck I drive. Besides....my friends family used to own a gas station growing up. His old man said regular is dirty and not a quality product regardless of brand.

Thank you Gritz for your input. Yes, taller--265/70/17 KO2s have been on there about 15k, calibrated speedometer too. Love my KO2s.
I was just wondering (being a little OCD regarding fuel) if anybody going with the different gear ratio of MT would benefit going taller, especially with AT tire's tread technology progressing (i.e. Bridgestone Revo 3s) bridging the gap between better highway miles and going off road 10-20% of the time...

I'm not sure how y'all are getting these numbers "driving around town." I only get 10-12 driving within Nashville and 17-19 on the freeway. I'd love the secret to more than 12 mpg in the city. Stock everything on a 19 DCSB OR automatic with around 35 psi tires, soft trifold bed cover, and 1600ish miles.

Wow! I only get a bit over 16MPG (2019 TRD ORDC, auto, 3.5) and don't drive it hard. Mix of highway 35% and 65% city. Only mods is a 2" lift, PRO grill, and PRO wheels, stock tires. I took it into the dealer for the first service and had them check the mpg - they said the scan tool said the truck was getting 21.6 - I never have been close to 17mpg, even when it was 90% highway. Disappointed at least 3 mpg less than my gen 2 and less usable power.

Just starting out, give me time
Can't really judge mpg without speed your running at. 45 is going to be better than 80. What speeds are you running for mpg posted to please.

I get 1-2 less mpg in the winter. But it's a solid 18.5 normally and 17 in the winter. Highway/City is 85/15%. If I really baby it I can churn out 20 but I can't drive like that.

22 mpg usually with a tonneau going 80 mph, 1600 miles from PA to TX or around TX highways, all at 80.
22-24 mpg going 70-75 mph on Texas highways.
27 mpg was my best on a RT from philadelphia to ocean city NJ and back (~3-4 hr total, 50-60 mph)
19-22 mpg after getting my softopper on TX highways at 80 mph. I have to do more testing to get a better range though.
Anywhere between 10-18 mpg driving in the city, though.

I drive with a very light foot on the highways and a heavy foot in the city. Everything is with a summer blend of regular gasoline

I am getting 16mpg driving around town sticking my foot in it. Maybe yours is running rich? Another guy had a similar problem.
