Does anyone know if it's exactly the same or what the differences are?

Seems like so many parts are interchangeable..

The only difference is the taper on the upper control arm balljoint. All the SUV's are the same (FJ, 4Runner, GX460). Everything else in the front is the same as the 2nd and 3rd gen Tacoma's. You can still use the UCA, just need to change the ball joint, or taper adapter for aftermarket UCA's.

I think so. As long as its not a 4runner with the KDSS system.

When I just had to have the right front axle in my FJ replaced, I was surprised to find out from the local O'Reilly's parts guy that it's the same axle part number as in a Tacoma AND a Tundra. Not sure if it's the same as a 4-Runner, though...

Yeah, I'm wondering because there is a guy on this forum who makes a 2nd Gen Tacoma kit that allows 35s to fit with a very minimal CMC, I'll have to keep poking around to figure out.. Thx a bunch so far!
