2015 Rear Bumper- Stock-vs- Tow Package Variances

Hello TW,

So- questions regarding the rear bumper on a 2015 model.
I have the Tow Hitch/package.
My bumper is body color but I'd rather have the Chrome version.
When searching for a chrome version- should I be aware of differences between say a stock ( non tow package) bumper or a bumper that came with a truck with a tow package.

Is there a difference?

There is no difference between bumpers. The difference is how they mount. The towpackage setup mounts the bumper to the trailer hitch. The nontowpackage bumper mounts to two brackets. Same bumper though

I do see bumpers on Craig's List from time to time but wanted to make sure I was not missing anything.

 

Too bad you're in MD (I'm in MO) as I have a chrome bumper I just took off to replace with a color matched one.
