So I done a thing, albeit slightly ghetto for the moment,I was told probably couldn't be done by a person in the car audio field today. I took a ported speaker box built for a comp vr 12" that was under the seat of my old f350 and made it fit behind the back seat of my tacoma. I didn't take pics because let's be honest.... it's not pretty lol. I had to rip out part of the back with a skill saw to clear the child restraint cross bar and notch it at the bottom of the box for the middle seat bracket. After sealing the back of the box with a lime green pool noodle believe it or not it actually sounds pretty good lol. Now with that said and knowing it will in fact work back there I will be pulling it out and properly sealing where I had to cut the box open so that I eliminate pressure loss. Due to the large size of the box I had no other choice but to pull out the under seat storage bin to house the amplifier. I have a pioneer double din, stock door speakers which actually sound pretty good for what they are, power bass 400x2 amp bridged to a single CVR12
