Might be too late, but before you remove too much of your cab mount, check out this...

I’d love to do a cab mount relocation, just need a welder!

Just curious, how’d you do a CMC without a welder? Did you not plate up your cut?

No I haven’t plated it yet. I’m gonna try to use the welder on base when I get a minute. Hopefully Friday after noon.

What? I’m starting to think you just fire off comments without any reading at all. I wrote that because you commented twice on just one aspect of why I got rid of the raptor without taking into account or reading any of the other things I have written in this thread. There were lots of reasons to make the move to a Tacoma but you think what you want chief.

I do all my own frame work without a welder. All you need is a mixing stick and you are good to go.

    “worlds strongest bond”.....nuff said

Do what you like, but it won’t be the worlds strongest bond.

You know it’s true cuz it says it on the package. Clearly a winning compound.

“Strength to 3960 PSI”. That’s about the weight of a Tacoma on one square inch!!!

I don’t any reason see why you couldn’t just remove the cab mounts and glue them back on where you want them with JB Weld. I’ll probably use it to mount my block lift and my wheel spacers too. Huge time saver.

Compressive strength, tensile strength, shear strength or mental strength.

I think you showed your hand with the relocation, vs the CMC plate. Oh well, it was funny while it lasted. Crazy cunuck.

I remember this happening back when I was a kid. Was on a 3000gt forum and some young dumb kid asked about wet sanding his tired paint job. Some smart ass told him to start with 80 grit... one fucked up paint job later... :pout:

Sarcasm and trolling is not obvious to everyone.
