If you have an iPhone6/6+/6S/6S+, check out the Helios Qi cases available from indiegogo. They look like they will work quite well. Just ordered a set for both me and my son.

I had to return a Note 5 for the S6 to make use of the wireless Charger both in the truck and the few I have at home. The Note 5 just would not stop pausing and restarting. Not enough power.

    Spigen case on my S6

Samsung told me they are aware of the issue with the larger battery and are selling a Super strong wireless charger for the Note 5 and S6+. I did not want to blow $50 on their wireless charger and still not have the use of the trucks QI. So I took it back and bought the S6.

I put a charging back on my wife's S5 It works great.

I have an Iphone 6 (not S or anything else after the "6")
Hmmmmm... my phone is very old - after reading the above, I am thinking even with aftermarket "fixes" and cases, the reliability is just not consistent. Should I just keep plugging it in until I make the leap to a phone from this century? My phone is old but I have a hard time justifying $1,000.00 for a frikken phone..... Oh well, I guess I am cheap.... (any more input on my exact situation would be helpful.... if anyone has a phone that old.... hee hee) - #wishIcoulduseallthebellsandwistlesonmytaco

Hey there - with the Iphone 6 and 6s - you have to get this little thing that plugs into the charger port - it is flat like a credit card and fits into most cases - it will give your phone the Qi cordless charging ability. The only caveat to that is, now you are stuck with only charging your phone that way. If you want to plug a cord in, you have to take the case off and remove that little device. Pain in the tookus - I actually went and bought a new phone - yes, from an 5s - then someone gave me their old 6 - now I have an XR - put a thick plastic case over it and the Qi works - just have to scoot the phone to the left till the light comes on - does not move because of the stickiness of the case - good luck!!

Just responded to another writer - if you have a phone that is current enough, you will not have any problems - I could not get a clear answer as to what is the latest version that will be compatible but through all my searching, I believe it is somewhere near version: iphone 8 - if it is older, there are "fixes" but I was not confident - some fixes involve a card and small adapter that occupies your power port - thus, making other cord charging a royal pain in the A&&

the Iphone 6 needs to be adapted - I did not find any cases already equipped - I think you may be stuck putting this little card inside the case that has an adapter you plug into the charging port - thus, occupying your charge port - then you are stuck charging that way only or having to remove the case and the little adapter every time you want to use a plug.....

I have a Bodyguardz case on my iPhone 11, and my wife has a tech21 case on her iPhone 8. Both work perfectly on my ‘17 Sport Qi Charger Pad in the truck and the to Qi Pad chargers we have in our house. Just make sure you position your phone on the Qi until it lights up and signals it’s charging.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus with a Supcase Unicorn Beetle that works with my Samsung fast charge Qi stand but does not work with the Qi charger in my 2020 Tacoma OR DCSB. I have not tried removing the case to see if that is the issue but I assume it is the issue of pausing and stopping of charging. The repeated pausing turn on the display to further drain the battery when not in use. If you want to use Android Auto the phone must be plugged in the front USB data port. I do recommend the case if you have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus, with the case on it just fits into the dash pocket. It tries to charge when the phone is flipped in one direction but not the other.

The Qi charger on my '16 is very finnicky. Most of the time it just doesn't want to work, whether my phone is in a case or not. I bit the bullet and ordered a wireless charger and the DMM. Works better so I can use it for Waze

S10 charges on the Qi pad without a case, but I've tried two different cases and the current just causes the phone to repeatedly cycle between "wireless charging paused" and "wireless charging".

The charging pad is worthless to me. It's so simple to plug a coiled fast charger into the power port. I find it to be a nice storage area.
