Im gonna call the department on my day off and see if anyone made a report about this lost bike.

 

What if it rolled onto my property from when it fell off the truck?

 

So if someone was towing a manufactured home, and that home fell off the trailer and into your property, you own it now?

You could have just moved the bike and parked in the spot. It seems like you took the bike out of retaliation, which would be theft.

Take it down to the police dept. and tell them you found it. Say you tried putting up a lost and found ad on Craigslist and no one has claimed it. They will hold it for around 30 days and if no one claims it you should have the option to claim it after the said time. You might have to tell them you’d like it if it’s unclaimed. Otherwise they will auction it.
