When I lived in Arizona my dad got a few camera tickets and someone came to serve them in person. They pulled up to the driveway and saw me in the garage, asked me if I was my dad (I said no, I was his son) and he said "well tell him he's been served" and gave me the tickets. Not sure if that was legit for him to handle it that way.

In Colorado I've gotten a few camera tickets over the years, paid some and not others. I've never had anyone try to serve them in person, and the ones I didn't pay aren't hurting my credit as far as I can tell.

In AZ we called camera tickets an 'idiot tax' because it was so widely known you didn't have to pay the mailed tickets. After a while the company who maintained the cameras had to remove them because they weren't collecting enough in fines to cover their costs.

Anyone in Denver look into the DPD camera vans that park on the side of the road? I feel like those wouldn't be a good idea to ignore since it's the popo and not a 3rd party handling the fines?

No different since they're unmanned cameras still. I got zapped a few times on Speer eons ago by one. I called the city once to verify, and they told me what was already stated above...90 days from the date of the offense to server you in person. If you aren't served, it's gone.

As far as I understand any adult 18+ can accept the papers on your behalf..so I will have to make sure my roommates don't accept anything.... that is assuming they'll send someone to serve me, which I'm not sure about because I thought it was a Boulder county employee who did so and I live in Arapahoe cty

lol, It was a grind. Had to stop part way back for an energy drink because I felt myself slipping. Worked to 3am, slept 3 hours, then went back to work lol. Wasn't THAT bad. Caffeine is life!

I've done quite a few 16 hours shifts at work and tried to stay to fill other post but my supervisor wouldn't let me because of "Labor Laws"

I've defiantly had some very nice pay checks the last few weeks. Been averaging 70 hours a week, so 30 OVT hrs @ 1.5 time and 2.0 time. Worked (2) 6 day weeks and I have been working every day the past 16 days, with the next 17 days straight scheduled as well. Plus a 9 day holiday shutdown with all 9 days at triple pay. :bananadance:
