I have a concern, I just got a notice, about my 2011. Should I go in for inspection??, I am due to get within the next 2 weeks or so a 2020 Taco, should I scratch deal, and get something else,or stay with getting the 2020. since it is pretty much what I wanted?? 2020 DCLB TRD SPT, AT, 4X4

If you are planning on trading it in on the 2020 at a Toyota dealer, I would think they (Toyota) would first inspect the truck (and frame) at some point during the trade / purchase?

I personally would take it it in, if it needs a frame. Get a frame.
New frame could be a benefit on trade price.
If it does not need a frame, then you can present the documentation that it was inspected and passed.
Therefore, it should not be a factor in your trade price?

I got the same notice a few months ago for my 2011. Did not get it inspected. Truck has lived in north Texas it's entire life, there is zero corrosion on it, nothing even superficial.

Maybe I'll get it done some day
