What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Can the old piece fit over it ?? Looking to do this to add a little strength since I'll be towing my motorcycle soon

 

its on a 2015, I left everything just like it came from the factory and put the plate on top..Some hi quality auto glue and self tappers, over 3 years and still good.....I use it mostly as a work surface

 

new wheels and tires. Looks so much better!!

Permanently disabled my TPMS today to prep for the new components. TPMS has stayed on for a month or so, my guess is that the batteries died after 12 years.

I am typically adamant about checking my tire pressures every time I am at the shop and never cared to have an idiot light anyways... was relatively easy. Cut one wire in driver kick panel, cut another wire on passenger side and splice to 12+. Double check when you do the delete as my year model requires power whilst most other year models require ground.

 

Got my new 700gm shifter with lazer etched shift pattern from ShiftSolutions put on today.
Needed something with a little more mass after putting on the URD shortshift kit.



I think a nice new charcoal or grey alcantara shift boot from Redlinegoods.com will be next up.
In the meantime, anybody got an idea what I should use to color in the worn part on the top of the shift boot?
I'm thinking a black permanent marker might not look right and be noticeable.
Black shoe polish maybe?

Mine is an 06, only had to cut the blue wire under the radio and ground it, ezee pezee
