    Hey guys, question?

Are there any lightbar or ditch light switches that fit the cutouts in our 1st gens??

know the interior isn't all the same, but on my 2002 stepside I have two empty rectangle spots under the HVAC and cigarette lighter area. Was going to pop one out and wire a switch for the ditch lights.

The rocker switch from Cali raised is too big, and the small CH4x4 switch is way too small.. was hoping not to cut or Dremel anything.

That might be the only option though. Any ideas or recommendations?

    Thanks.

I think all the Carling style switches snap in, and if they don't it's maybe a mm or two worth of dremeling. I remember I had one on my first taco and it was easy to install.

Hmm. Thanks for the reply. Yeah I looked at a bunch of pics in the "let's see your switches" thread. A lot of people put two Carling style switches vertically in each empty spot. My cutouts are horizontal. I'm ok with them being horizontal, cuz that means less cutting.

Assuming they cut a bunch of plastic to fit them vertically.

Thanks. Yeah I've seen this. these two spots are used on my truck. One being the locking rear diff, which I don't want to move. That's why I was trying to do the center console

This is where I was thinking of mounting them. I'll check out the OTRATTW.

I have a couple Carling type switches and had to shave off just a little bit.

I'll send them if you want them, or just the light bar one.

That would be very much appreciated. Especially the horizontal one, but I'll take both :D:D

You only have to take off the slightest bit on the top and bottom.

    20191211_205452.jpg

I swapped them out for a couple of older Camry (I think) fog light switches.

    20191211_205351.jpg
These might fit without any modification.

Do you happen to remember the brand? Or where you got them?
