There’s a NorCal 4x4 Offroad Recovery community group and it looks like it’s pretty active. Hope this link works, try posting there?

You could always bring some tire chains too.

Do not leave that truck unattended people can be real assholes. A buddy of mine left his F150 in woods over night because the rear drive shaft snapped. Came back the next day to get it and every window was smashed all the speakers were stolen and the radio was stolen and they shit on the hood which started oozing into the vac inlet. But they did leave a sticky note that said I wouldn't have shit on it if it was a chevy.

OP... Been in your shoes a time or two. Try not to panic and try not to let your truck sit unaccompanied. You need someone with a winch. I currently don’t have a winch, otherwise I’d burn a day and make the drive. A High Lift Jack is also gonna be important along with friends with lots of shovels. Think things through before going balls to the wall.

Patience. This is gonna be a learning experience. Keep us posted as to your needs.

    Best of luck....

Yep, Friday I'm going to check up on my truck but not to try and pull it out.

I've been going every other day to make sure it hasn't been vandalized or anything

Today is Wednesday and you’re going up Sunday?

Wish you luck but it might be gone by then.

I’d come and help but work obligations prevent that at the moment and I don’t have the right gear to get you unstuck.

Hate to say it but, you got yourself into this situation, you need to get that recovered ASAP!

Trying to find a way back up tomorrow. But I’ve got the daughter in for a doctors appointment. And my Tacoma is in a few pieces still at BAMF.

It's pretty slow but I've had success with a come along and chain. That's if there's a winch point you can anchor the come along to, or find something you can bury and anchor to. Take a full size shovel along and clear the path the best that you can.

There’s stuck, and then there’s you. Holy hell!!!

Like Franky86 suggested, I would hit up one of the local recovery groups, even Jeep clubs.

This isn’t the time to be proud, and you are going to need a lot of help.

    Good luck on the recovery.

This sucks. But there is no way I'd leave my truck there that long. It may hurt the wallet, but I'd be paying for some help. Good luck.

OP, back in the day in College I buried a Jeep that ended up spending 2 nights in the woods, I ended up talking to a few towing companies that could refer me to someone who was capable of pulling out an off-road vehicle. Long story short I paid a guy $200 to get me out “no matter what” granted this was 20 years ago... he first attempted it with a 4wd pay loader and had to use the bucket to push himself back out. Ended up just calling in another guy with an F350 on 40” plus tires, that thing didn’t even blink he got me out with zero effort. Moral of my story track down a guy with a mud truck and pay him. A full size on real mud tires with some actual HP and Torque will pull you out with very little drama. Track down that guy and pay him to get you out!
