I have maxed out all trading roles. The legendary bounties are great. A new one each week.

 

Things came up over the last year and RDR2 was just put on the back burner and I never actually finished the story. I'm thinking about starting from the beginning and replaying this winter. That pic just sealed it and I'm going to.

 

Please do that then when you are ready try the online. It is 100x what the standalone version is. They add new stuff every week. It was slow at first but in the last few weeks they add a lot of things to do.

I played for a few minutes before work today on the PC, looks great from what i have seen so far. I loved it on the PS4 but i'm looking forward to the mods on PC.

 

Waiting on the Steam release...

The only way I'm going to put any more time, effort or money into this game is Story Mode DLC. Everything else is fluff I'm not interested in.

 

I doubt they'll do a story mode DLC unfortunately. They didn't do anything story mode related for gta v, just online releases.

 

That's why I never played GTA-V again after finishing the story mode. I'm sure they gain more than they lose so it's no skin off their ass.

 

Yup I agree. They still got me to buy two copies of gta v though. Once on PS3 when it was first released and another in PS4

 

I loved it on Xbox but I'm not sure if I want to pull the trigger on the pc copy. Especially with all the issues everyone is talking about.

 

Why would you not play online mode? It is 1000x what story mode is for each game. Not only can you play with friends real or online only but you can do things in single player that the story mode only touched on.

It can get annoying online when they shove too many players in a session and you can't hunt any animals or setup your camp (RDR2) but you just jump into a new one or three until you get one with less players. Then you can setup your camp and hunt galore.

There are daily new things to do and weekly they add a new bounty hunt. I do the bounty hunt at least once each week if not more only for the new missions. I do about 50% of the daily ones just because they are fun. Donate 20 items to Cripps or Donate 6 large carcasses to Cripps. Find 3 lost heirlooms, Find 3 coins, Sell 6 3 star items to a butcher. It goes on and on.

I am currently reloading GTA5 on my computer since I upgraded to a 4K 43" TV for the monitor. I will see how my video card can handle it ( Nvidia 1050Ti).

 

Since the last post I upgraded to a Nvidia RTX 2070 Super and RDR2 PC looks even better than the XBOX One X.

I'm going thru the story mode now. Since it's been a year it's like playing it new.

Day 4 and so far I have not had any crashes or bugs.

 

New Trader update adds today. Moonshiner.

You start by adding a on ground shack with an underground speakeasy.

As you build it out and learn new recipes you get more customers.

As you get larger you can add stages and bands.

This sounds like a lot of fun.
