Painting double wide ac cover?

Remodeling a double wide given to my wife and recently had half the house painted a light Grey with white trim. The heat and ac cover is brown. Can’t stand it doesn’t flow well. Wondering if I can paint this with say high heat gloss black paint?? And yes I know the filters need to be replaced. I’ll replace them when I take the covers off for paint possibly.

 

Shouldnt need high heat paint, its just air intake right? Metal paint should work

 

Agreed, metal paint is fine. This goes without saying, but just in case it needs to be said, be sure to remove the covers before painting.
