    I have a 2018 Tacoma TRD Off-Road.

I just ordered the TRD Pro Skid plate. Any idea how much the regular skid plate/cover is worth? Is there a market for them? I'm moving soon and don't want to haul too much junk with me so I am curious how easy it will be to sell.

    Thanks

Not much of a market for them, but might be able to get 30 bucks for it if you find the right buyer

There’s an ad on Craigslist in Portland for $75 but it’s been listed for a long time. I’d try listing it for $50 if you want to move it quickly.

Thanks guys, didn't know if it was worth anything. It's definitely not an item someone would be willing to pay shipping on so most likely all buyers will be local.

Target SR5 owners - The SR5 (2wd) doesn't come with the flat back skid just the front one. I got one (Back oil pan one) for my SR5 off CL for 20$.

$%&@ dammit. Yes the skid plate arrived with two missing bolts. One was loose in the box but I assume it's the one for the center hole in the skid plate. Anyone know the part number for the two missing bolts or what they actually look like?

    Thanks

Toyota sells a hardware kit for the Pro Skid Plate, I try to mention in these threads to ask the seller to tape them in place or remove them and package them separately so they don't get lost during shipping.

Just contact the dealer you got it from. There’s a claims process they can do to send you the hardware kit for free. My arrived missing the two rear bolts. Three days later, I had the hardware kit at my house.

There was a sale recently off Toyota's website so we ordered 2 skid plates, one for my 18' OR and one for the Wifes T4R. Both arrived with all hardware still in the boxes....guess we got lucky because I remember it was pretty common people were missing bolts

I would assume it is ok to install without the rear 2 bolts for a few days. I could be wrong.

What if someone see it with two off-color rear bolts? I'll be the laughing stock of the Tacoma World.:goingcrazy:

    JK :p

I paid for a skid plate with all hardware so I was expecting all the hardware. Also, I wanted to sell the skid plate on my TRD Off-Road to offset the price somewhat.
