Rough idle

my truck just started idling rough. What could be causing that? Please help! 2.7l

 

take her to an NAPA, Auto Zone etc and have them put a scanner on it and check for pending codes... it shouldnt be too long before one pops.

 

Does it run rough only at idle, or when you are driving down the road?

Truck is only idling rough when stopped, drives fine. I have cleaned the mass air flow sensor, cleaned the throttle body, replaced spark plugs, replaced fuel filter, replaced air filter and added a bottle of Seafoam to fuel tank, it’s still idling rough

 

Will it idle on a cold start? Or do you have to help it for the first ten seconds? Maybe clean your idle air control valve?

 

It actually runs better when I start it cold, it’s usually after I drive it for awhile and it comes up to temp it idles rough but I never have to help it out any, it won’t die.

 

What kinda plugs you use?
