Brute Force Fab official on TW

I radiused off the corner of my ADS mount, but I think it would have actually fit without any modification. Hard to tell from the picture, but it mounts about a 1/4" off of the frame, so it may have cleared the bumper bracket.

@ChadsPride I think the best route is to get the BAMF brackets as @Longboard1110 did. There is a sale right now. They are stronger anyways. @Anderson can tell you why. i cut my shit up for install and soon i will buy the BAMF and new resi mounts. It would be cheaper to do it from the get.

 

Looks solid but good info. I'll see about those tonight. Still have a few weeks while my shocks are being built but I'd like to be ready when they arrive.

 

If it's the same on the second gen as the third gen, which I expect it to be, it's McMaster-Carr 90222A419. I confirmed this with Billy when I broke mine on the first use when it swung out on a hill pretty quickly loaded with a 33" tire and 10 gallons of fuel/water.

Loctite 37539 Silver-Grade Anti-Seize Lubricant Tube - 1 oz.

I'm curious about the brackets I received. I think Billy was working on a new design. I showed a little restraint last night and didn't open everything up.

Took a trip to Clovis today to have Billy and Will install my bumpers.

 

Bed cage in, super simple to install. Spare tire on the rack and I have pieces to fab mounts for recovery boards

Front bumper some time next week. Are there any tips/guidelines for front bumper installation? I have the hybrid and was going to loosely follow the C4 Fab video unless Billy has something similar.

 

Looks good man! Do you know how much weight you added in the rear with the hc bumper and swing out and do you feel a big difference in your rear suspension?

 

I don't know the exact weight I added, but would say with everything added up (bed cage, RRT, bumper, and swingouts) it's in the 450 pound range. Before adding everything on the rear Icon RXT springs were stock configuration, and the front King coilovers had 2-3 threads showing, the truck sat roughly 1 3/4 inches over stock, after adding everything on it dropped the front about half an inch, and the rear about two inches. I spun the nut down on the coilovers 5-6 more threads and added the extra leaf spring into the rear pack, the truck sits just under 3 inches over stock now, and rides amazing.

 

Ahh nice! I have the RXT leaf pack as well but on option 2. I’ll have to add the last leaf to compensate for all the extra weight but good to know it works well and I don’t need to get the Deavers

 

I think the leafs are just like anything else you research online, people love them and people hate them. So far I have been very happy with the RXT springs, they handle the weight great, still ride nice, and are super flexy. I may be singing a diffrent tune after 50k miles, but for now they are great.

 

I also love my RXT on setting 2. The ride is great and the droop in massively better than stock.

I other news, I finally grew a pair and drilled holes in my frame to finish the installation of the bumper. I've been running without the frame bracket for a few weeks.

For those curious, I did not need to modify my ADS resi mounts. Perhaps important to note, I am using the sway bar relocation brackets, even though I don't run the sway. This might provide the clearance necessary to fit everything.
