Cheapo Gerber folder for now until I save up for a Benchmade Gryptillian. I was carrying a cheap Gerber Air Ranger knife. Best $10 I ever spent before I lost it, very light weight good utilitarian knife IMO and not so expensive that I was pissed when I misplaced it.

Everything I own has to take a beating. I have a Leathermen multi-tool that is in the truck and I carry a backpack everywhere with a flashlight etc. in it. I HATE carrying things in my pockets.

I used to have a 9c loved that gun. Super reliable. Sold it in a pinch years back. Have a shield and carried that more so the 9c has to go. I’ll do an EDC dump soon.

I always go back to my Leek as well. Absolute favorite knife I've ever carried. Holds an impeccably sharp edge and has NO bulk in pocket.

here is what the basic Californian carries.

i'm in the month that i rotate in a simple Swiss Army knife (pretty handy during the pandemic - because of beer) . the flashlight is with me all the time (living in earthquake country, wildfire, blackouts, total shenanigans country). i do carry a multi-tool in my man-bag.

works pretty well if you don’t need instant access. If you fold the leather pull tab under, it takes slightly longer to access, but it’s pretty much undetectable.

for quicker access, a piece of flat stock mounted between the front seat bolts is super simple, and makes a good solid mount for a holster of your choice. Depending on your arm length and usual seat position you may want to put a bend or two in the flat bar to adjust the position of said holster for convenient access. Sorry, I don’t have any pics of that one handy.
