Is the Annual Windshield sticker to certify you have at least 3 stickers on the windshield? I mean.. my god do they leave you any room to see out of that window?

Not exactly correct. Don’t forget about the sales tax aka privilege tax on new vehicles

Utah is emissions only state every other year until 6 years old then every year after that. If your vehicle is 1967 or older then no inspection required. They got rid of safety inspections a couple of years ago. Registration is a "fee" based on vehicle age. They pulled the fee vs. tax card many years ago so it can't be deductible on your tax return yet we still pay to tax commission and not fee commission. Communist! Just registered my 2010 last month. I paid $38 to get inspected and $113 in registration fees.

Also an annual inspection (includes smog based on age) and a lot more taxes (though technically not to register) if you live in the communist part.

I never thought I'd miss California registration fees until I got my personal property tax bill for my Tacoma here in NOVA. Hol-ee fucking shit.

They mailed me the weight sticker with my registration but I never put it on. I've never seen trucks with the weight sticker, so I never attached mine. 4 inspections so far and no one's yelled at me about it yet, so I'm keeping it off.

I have the weight class sticker but I didn't put it on 3 stickers in the windshield is ridiculous. I'll wait till the cops tell me too.

California, you buy a truck from out of state then you have to get a weight certificate. I had to pull the 2006 Ford Ranger, I got for my Son, onto the scale to make sure it didn't weight 10,000 pounds of more; oh and pay 35 bucks.
