2018 Tacoma Alarm system

Hello everyone I have an issue I hope someone can help with. I purchased the OEM security alarm. The dealer said it would work with my vin. However when I received it I started the install and found that mine does not have the hood ajar dummy connector. Does anyone know if there is away around this. When I turn on security in teachstream the hood Ajar comes on. Thanks

 

Hello, have you found a solution for the issue yet? I am having the same problem. I bought the GBS kit for my 2019 Tacoma (3rd Gen) and installed according to the V2 harness installation (there is a V5 harness installation if your taco come with the hood ajar dummy connector). I tried to turn on security with Techstream and the hood ajar warning appear on the dash.
