    is the 2000 tacoma 2.7 engine block the same block as the 2.7 2007 tacoma block. thanks for any help

    the 3rz also has the two balance shafts in the block, i know the other things on the block is different but is the block itself the same? can i take the components off my 3rz block and but on the 2tr block?

    lol forgot about that, the 2RZ is the one without balance shafts.

    what exactly are you trying to do? im pretty sure if it was the same block, someone would have already thrown a 3RZ head and other parts on it and turbo'd it by now.
