If it’s a really big deal you could replace the climate control with the Fahrenheit version.

Likewise. Frankly my area has more in common with the great white north than anywhere south of PA.

We came in at the end of WWI and helped to win it, but we can't take credit for winning that war.
WWII we were the manufacturing champions for sure. However, w/o Canada, England, Australia, Russia, French resistance, and China we'd have gotten our asses handed to us. If Hitler was to conquer Russia it would have been all but over. The Russians gave up 50MM people to defend itself. That would have been our entire military and then some. Meanwhile, Japan would have gotten in on that.

Early on at least, Canadians had to volunteer to serve overseas.

Let europe fight their european wars. Nothing would make me happier than to pull out of NATO. However, I freely admit it will make it harder when the US eventually has to pull chestnuts out of the fire.

They just haven't figured out that their body parts are the same size no matter which system of units they use.

How so - is your Celsius Calendar Year something other than 365 days long?

Calendars, which measure time, having nothing to do with (a) either Fahrenheit or celsius, both of which measure temperature, or (b) the metric system.

It's just easier to become a pilot. You get lots of practice making the conversion. (F= C X 2-10%+32)

It's awesome because it's not quite true.

Know those big rocket things that put stuff in space? Rocket internal/external temps are regularly calculated in F and R, thrust in pounds-force, efficiency in pounds-force*seconds/pounds-mass... rocket diameters in feet. Some stuff happens in metric, some in freedom units.

    Expensive fact, at times:
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars_Climate_Orbiter

As for the moon landing itself - the engineering calcs were primarily done in metric, but all the piloting was performed using displays and meters in freedom units.

Don't blame Canada for what Toyota does and it is not our fault that USA is behind the eight ball

It's simple and in your "settings". I had to change mine to C 4 yrs ago.

That’s not exactly correct. Canada was fully independent from Britain by then, but for sure we shared common interests, and politics. We were not obliged to fight.
