Which lift setup should I go with?

  1. Screw that order both with Reservoirs

  2. Naw Fam, they have the OME BP51's you can get individually from them. DO IT.

  3. Nope. Go big. You don't hardly off-road anyway. 6" Rough Country with full Length Struts

  4. That Fox setup in your cart looks great. You won't regret it.

  5. None of those. See my recommendation Below.

Ok, so I am in a peculiar situation with getting a lift kit shipped to my APO address. No one seems to be willing to ship it for a decent price. I am ok with keeping the 1" spacer in the rear that the former owner installed, I just want to fix the front end (remove the front 2.5 or whatever size spacer is up there) and add a proper shock set up for the raised reae. I plan on running full leaf packs in the future, but again I can't get stuff shipped.

Below are pictures of my current spacer only setup on the truck. I believe it is a 2.5" front puck and I know it is a 1" rear block. Also below is a screenshot of my current summitracing shopping cart. Is there anything else you think I should add? Summitracing will ship free to APO if I piece the stuff together individually, but they don't ship there pre built lift kits, unfortunatly.

Thoughts on the 2.5 Fox coilovers without the reservoirs? How are these 2.0 Fox rears I have in my cart? I've pretty much copied some other kits I've seen on different websites with this setup. Thank you for your time and thoughts! Screenshot_20191215-221332.jpg Screenshot_20191215-221322.jpg

Not sure what your asking, but make sure you get an alignment soon as you are done with your lift install.

If you plan to do any OFFROAD driving, even rough dirt roads, not familiar with fox, but I would recommend leaf springs is the most obvious thing missing. Not removing blocks from the back as well seems to be a mistake in my opinion if you are going through the trouble of removing spacers from the front. I've been using Dakar OME leafs in the back for the lift. Sure there are other leaf and/or add a leaf.

Lol what do you mean you don't know what I'm asking? Did you even read the thread? And the poll? I am fully aware of how suspension works, and of the need for an alignment after suspension work. I've been doing this for 10+ years, although this is my first Tacoma.

As for having a 1" block in the rear, there is no problem with running this setup for the time being. There is really no loss until I get back to the states, when l will be towing or loading up bikes. I will never be doing heavy offroading, and even then small blocks on a rear axle is typically a non-issue. I plan on doing full leafs in the states, but leaf packs are heavy, and it is hard to find people who will ship them for a decent price. APO boxes are military postal boxes, that make it easier for military members to ship overseas, and still have free shipping.

Anyway, unless I found a company that would break down a full suspension setup in to several different boxes (because of dimension and weight restrictions for APO shipping) I am not doing full leafs in the rear until I go stateside in over a year.

Also, I just want to add that the video you posted is entirely irrelevant to my situation. That dude has TONS of weight on the back of his rig. I will litterally never have any of that. I don't need it. I will have a purpose built older Jeep Wrangler Stateside. I'm not looking to do that kind of offroading in the Tacoma. I need the bed for the dirt bikes, and it may see light to moderate offroading (hunting).
