So I'm doing the truck's first oil change tomorrow and checking everything else including the manual stated items. Does anyone know what a stock brake pad and shoe's wear material thickness is when it is new. Not that I'm concerned about it with 8k on the clock but just curious as I have a set of pad thickness measuring tools and was going to see what they're at for reference while I'm under there and rotating the tires.

Just to satisfy the curious and the "you have 2yrs free service" crowd I'm doing it myself since the dealer screwed up last time on the 5K/6 Mo service. I know, how to you do that? They left a few of the lug nuts freely spinning on and the others where so tight I needed my 36" breaker to get them off so who knows what else they did or didn't bother to do. A filter, a jug plus a quart of mobil 1...$40 and and hour or two is well worth it to me that my 33K truck is maintained as it was designed.
