Anyone know the part number for the screw tabs on the door speakers? They are green tabs behind the speaker. I keep hearing a loud rattle/buzzing sound from my door panel everytime the radio is on. I know it's the speaker that is doing that because a few weeks ago i removed the door panel and noticed the speaker was loose and i had to tighten them down. But now the green tabs are not holding the screw tight enough and tend to loosen everytime I close my door.

If anyone could provide a part number that would be great. If anyone is confused I could post a picture of what I'm talking about. I just chose not to add a picture because removing the door panel can some times be a pain to get off.

    Thanks in advance.

After you replace the green parts, get some noico sound deadener and put it over the speaker rings like this. It will hold the bolts from moving, make the mounting area a little more rigid and get rid of any rattles coming from there.

now theres someone who cares about his truck. i cut a bigger hole in my door with a saw to fit slightly larger speakers and zipped it in with self tap screws. no rattle or anything. the trick is to keep putting self taps until the rattle stops.

If they're stock speakers I'd throw some new ones in while you are at it.
