    You would be surprised how many people have stupid written across their foreheads.
    I worked in dealerships and left after I voiced concerns about the crap I saw going on and how they did nothing. I even warned costumers that I could but the dealership recommended stuff like this so they did it.
    Never go to a dealership after your warranty expires. Find a local mechanic you can trust. Im fortunate to have a nephew who is a mechanic at a dealership who works on my cars on the side.

    It's ok, most of the straight-eyed mechanics don't know what they're doing either. They just turn wrenches based on what the alignment rack computer tells them to turn. Throw in a non-standard feature like SPC control arms and many of them are dumbfounded.
