That’s a thing on college campuses now. Odds are, in most cases, it’s the ok symbol or the smack in the nuts game. Either way, people are getting triggered because the only possible meaning is some form of white power. Even though the whole skinhead movement is on the fringes with inbred pig fuckers these days.

Kids jump to the conclusion that anything potentially offensive was 100% meant to be that way and absolutely directed at them.

Most have heard me talk about being back in school to burn my GI Bill, and I can say, it is def nuts.

Had a diversity class last semester and that was fun. The sad thing is, they don’t even mean to do it. Half just go along with it so they don’t get ostracized, then about 40% don’t even know there’s another possibility. The other 10, either want attention, to feel useful or whatever other reason.

We had a black lesbian in the class that swore everything was because of her race and sexual orientation. She brought up getting a ticket and how the cop said under his breath something about let’s see how many tickets this one has. So I countered. I hate all this cop hate, it’s so stupid and based off a few truly bad cops. Anyways, told her the comment was unprofessional but all things aside, could’ve been because of her age, type of car, how she was driving, race, etc... hundred reasons. Point is, you admit to speeding and got pulled over for that, maybe in his experience, most who speed have records. Your assumptions about someone being racist or prejudice are a form of prejudice it’s self. Like this whole safe space. I have freedom of speech to call you a racist or prejudice towards the LGBT community but if you disagree I’m triggered and you can no longer talk to me.

 

Yeah, most college campus' are breeding grounds for the inane. Especially these days.

The somewhat satisfying thing for me is that a lot of the diversity movement got too diverse and now the infighting is causing themselves to eat their own. Hopefully, it will self-regulate back to somewhat normal. I'm super cool with diversity, but I can only keep up with so many labels.

 

Exactly. Whatever happened to just saying... hey, we/I prefer to be called “”. We/I find that term offensive. Instead of making a huge deal out of something that is likely just a misunderstanding.
