Saab and volvo did it until I swapped in Redline. Weirdly, the Geo never did.

Nah. It was the 1.3l Metro sedan. There are times when I wish it was still around.

It is funny that my wife and I both lusted after the softtop Trackers before we met.

One of my buddys had baby blue turbo geo, that was interesting to say the least haha, and another buddy had geo hatchback.
The non turbo geo was bulletproof and amazing on gas. Didnt they have suzuki engines too?

I have about 5500 miles on my truck but the more it warms up the smoother the shifts become. I am confident that the " accumulator Delete " and a fluid change ( to the Redline MT-90) will bring much improvement.

I didn't know Geo had a model with a turbo.

They were rebadged Suzukis and Toyotas. Almost nothing was changed. The Metro was the Swift. The Tracker was the Sidekick. The Prism was the Corolla. The Storm was the Isuzu Impulse?

Probably one of the smarter GM and badge eng moves. Too bad they killed it off, but that's the GM way. Kill what works.

Weird my AT doesn’t have any trouble switching into first without me doing anything?
Lol just joking couldn’t resist when people always answer AT problem threads saying their MT’s don’t have the same problem. :p

Ah! I don't think we had that here? I could be wrong.

That was our Geo Metro though, but we only had the choice of the 0.9l 3cyl or 1.3l 4cyl. With the MT, the 1.3l was perfectly adequate. I could get it to highway speed on uphill ramps while winding it out nicely.

I had a 4x4 Tracker Manual, that was a good little truck. I sold it to my Ex-Fiance and she had it till it got close to 300k.

They were good machines lassoed with the stupid Samari stigma that was just all wrong. The same kids flipping those were wrapping cars around telephone poles.

During the gas pinch of 2008, there was a shop around here selling Metros for just about what they were when new.

Mine was a 1995, it had the upgraded 16v engine so it scooted along pretty nicely.
