0CC0C795-3C8A-4268-ACD9-1064862BA17F.jpg hey guys, 30k on my 2017 pro..
Had a 4 hour drive a couple days ago and left my phone on the charger for the whole thing. Now my charger mat (the actual thin plastic layer on top) is warped and “peeling” almost.

Anyone had this issue? I figured it would stop charging when it overheats, as it’s done in the past.

Taking it tomorrow for the 30k service and bringing this up when I go, I’ll update then.

    update:
The rep said I’m the 4th to report the warping this summer at this particular dealership. He said it’s the immense heat here in Biloxi. He also said it’s a $1000 part, but of course it’s covered under warranty.

Our dealership tried to blame his tuff skin covers. My son's response was call me when it's fix and walked out. He picked it up a few days later, some bullshit it would talk all day to remove the console.

Covered under warranty, common problem, I eeked mine in before 36K, had to order part, they will call when it's time to install.

$1000?! I don't believe it; aviation isn't even that bad on pricing. It's just a coil and resonator circuit. Dealership is probably telling a sob story to make you feel bad.

I didn't even ask, their problem part, their problem install. I have learned to devoid myself of any sympathy at these dealers, especially after some of the shenanigans I've seen here, especially the shady alignment scheme here:
