So I'm starting to think about suspension in my 2019 Sport.

I have about 250lbs added to the front via bumper/winch/accessories and I have about 450lbs added to the rear between bumper, water, rack, tent, etc... that's with out loadout gear in the bed. So stock suspension is not going to cut it, I don't think...

What should I be looking at to keep the truck in good shape as far as daily highway and occasional light off-road goes? I'm not into rock crawling or anything like that, so don't need anything extreme.

But I'm thinking of add a leaf, but not sure what springs and/or shocks to go with.

Hypothetically, if I were to get that kit, what all parts would I need to go along with it. There's quite a few check boxes there...

    It’s all there.

    Springs
    Struts
    Rear shocks
    Leafs
    Shackles

Depending on how high you lift it you might wanna consider getting UCAs.
    It’s 1.5”-3” of lift.
2” is the sweet spot on stock UCAs.

The springs and leafs have options for light duty and heavy duty.
I’d go with heavy duty ones since you have 700lbs of armor.

    Edit:
check the boxes that fit your needs ...

Thank you for the info, I appreciate it. As far as what fits my needs ... I'm not sure what I actually *need* as far as that goes? There's lots of goodies that are fun to have, but what are the minimum requirements? For example, do I *need* the diff drop? And by "need," I mean ... is it a case of "Sure, you can run without it on a 2" lift, but it's going to cause excessive wear and you'll have to replace your differential sooner rather than later" type of thing?

A lot of people like to do upgrades that won't really benefit them. I'm prone to that as well... but I'm trying to cure myself of that condition :) So I'm trying to figure out what will actually provide a benefit vs just a nifty check both (both literally and figuratively).

With aftermarket accessories and heavier than stock setup, I would consider a shock that can be tuned for the added weight. Lots of rear leaf spring choices out there and the RXT may be a good fit with 3 stages to choose from. Or a Deaver U402 pack. Any lift over 2" you should get an after market front upper control arm. As far as the "need" goes... we have done all that homework and built our stage kits to fit that need. Sure you can upgrade things here and there, but may not be necessary. If you have any specific questions, shoot us a PM. Happy to help
