Everything functions as it should, absolutely no missing parts/hardware. Comes with full Thule lock set and keys. Bed attachments for both the 2nd gen and 3rd gen are included so this will work for any 2005 - current model year. Great for hauling kayaks, paddle boards, lumber, etc. The rack is about flush with the cab at lowest setting and can be quickly raised up another foot or so above it, if needed. Load capacity is 450 lbs. Should be able to ship for free via UPS from my workplace. I'm located in Columbus, OH area if you would like to pick it up.

First pic below shows it at 2nd lowest notch (just above cab where I usually have it). The second picture shows it raised to highest notch to accommodate my curved kayak over the cab and bikes underneath it.

How long and wide is your yak?

I have two wide 12.5 ft kayaks and been trying different ways without going all out on a set up.

is it easy to remove and install?

That kayak in the picture is a 2 person Ocean Kayak -12' long and 34" wide. I have two other 10' kayaks too and if I need all three two of them can lay next to each other on the bed rack and I take the other In the bed (with tailgate down). If you added J hooks to the rack you could certainly get 3 up top. The setup is great for kayaks and lumber which is exactly why I bought it. I need to transport my dogs all the time and I'm tired of them getting the cab dirty so I'm swapping this for a bed cap, unfortunately. It is very easy to remove the side posts and crossbars from the bases if you want/need the bed uncovered.

This is the vid I watched for the first time install:
