I bought Weathertech for my wife’s car and they are great. On my new Taco I got the OEM all weather which seem good but maybe a little thin.

I like the durability and the look of my husky weather beaters. But the sharp edges and little spikes on the bottom have worn through my carpet. So I wouldn't recommend these and I won't be purchasing these again. 20190216_112557.jpg 20190216_112735.jpg
I have only 28,000 miles on my truck.
My wife has weathertech in her Highlander and they don't have this problem.

    Haven't owned Husky. Yet.

However, I'm not thrilled with the Weather Techs in either vehicle, other than the cargo liner in the back of the CUV.

I like the old rubber mats that GM had in the 60's. Pliable, easy cleaning, fit whatever well. Husky owners, are the Huskies something like that?

They won't last as long as either WT or Husky.

I had Toyota 'all season' mats in my '04 and they worked fine, but were too thin to be durable. The driver heel area wore out easily. Then I stuck in the carpeted mats that had also come with the vehicle, and they lasted even less, even though the mats had a plastic type backing.

My plan is to eventually replace the Tacoma carpet with the rubber flooring, then if Husky looks good, use them in the CUV

Huskys for me. Had them in my 2012 as well and zero issues. Haven't seen the under carpet wearing but admittedly I'm still at low mileage.

I've used both and currently have Husky in my 2018. Love them but Weathertech also makes a good product. Can't go wrong with either in my opinion.

The leather seats. The spotless carpet. The X-act Contours with custom TRD logo inserts ... exquisite.

I always ran WT. Just purchased the Husky's last week. Love em. Material is more durable and form fitting IMO. Highly recommended

I found that the weather techs I had in my previous car were hard to clean. You would hit them with a pressure washer and they would look clean, but when they dried there was still visible dirt.

This is what the Toyota rubber mats look like. They have worked well for two winters now.

    Husky X-act Contours +1.

I remember I did my research over a year ago comparing WeatherTechs vs Husky X-Act vs Husky Weatherbeaters and ended up buying the X-Act Contours with a discount on their webpage.

I've been really happy with them - easy to clean, hold up spills really well (mud, snow, coffee), cover a good area and seem to fit the carpet.

The only "bad" thing that I can think of is that due to them being flexible, if you are not careful when closing the doors and they are caught, they will bend awkwardly and deform (for a bit). This happened to me a couple times after a carwash, but after stretching them a bit and putting some weight on top they went back to their original form. Not that it's a huge deal, but just an observation. But hey, they cover a LOT all up to the door.

Btw, there are some videos on YouTube comparing all of these mats. I remember I saw one of a guy that bought both of them and shows them side to side so you can have an idea.

I currently have the rubber factory mats and am on the fence to upgrade. I live where snow/muck is always prevalent. The volume (amount of melted snow, etc) the factory mats can hold before it spills over, is very disappointing, It just seems I need to dump the water everyday in the winter. Thinking about the Husky X, but the design doesn't seem like it would hold much more before spilling on the carpet.

I guess long, short. and I now this is a poll so, sorry. But, can anyone recommend a mat with fuggin awesome tread and high borders that can hold more than 1 cup of water.
