Feel free to point me to a thread where this has already been answered, but I would like to upgrade my 2019 OR stock suspension (2-2.5 lift) in the coming year. However, I don't need a "race suspension"...I'm just looking for the lift plus beefier components plus a better ride/dampening. I want to do this but choose components that aren't fussy or require a lot of maintenance/adjustment. I would vastly prefer something that I set and forget, and do a minimum of maintenance on (I know there will be maintenance, just prefer something that isn't as fussy).

I've been lead to believe Kings/Icon/etc will require more care and feeding.

Right now I'm leaning towards BP51 with Dakar leafs, and Nitro UCAs. Am I on track or tell me me I'm wrong.

For what you're describing I would stick with a ball joint style upper control arm. Normal maintenance, and quiet. Plenty of threads on here talking about different arms. We like using Icon upper control arms with Delta Joints. They have been perfect for all the mid travel kits we've installed. If your truck has the stock weight, I would strongly suggest you avoid the Dakar Leaf pack. Cheap, yes.. stiff, very. I would consider the Deaver J66 pack to get you about a 1" lift and the smoothest ride. For shocks... Tuned Fox or King all the way... shoot me a PM if you have specific questions, happy to help

If you live in a salty area, all the adjustable coilovers will require diligent washing and coating with Fluid Film or similar to remain adjustable after a year...

Low maintenance front would be Bilstein 6112 and a ball joint UCA from SPC or JBA.

For the rear pick a shock with no remote reservoir, no adjuster knobs, and no heim joints. Something like Icon VS 2.0 or even Bilstein 5100. All the leaf spring brands will rust to a degree. Put in plastic Speedway leaf liners to prevent squeaking over the life of the truck.

thanks brothers! yes agree not touching things is the lowest maintenance, but I want to lift my truck a couple inches because i'm a fool.
I have a lot to learn obviously.

I'll continue drinking from the firehose. The plus side is there is no rush, but and while I want to do it, it isn't mandatory.
