I've seen TRD dual exhaust on the Tundra. In the black chrome, its gorgeous. I'd love this on my Tacoma.
I've been unable to find the dual TRD for my application. Not MBRP, not anything else. Has anyone seen the dual TRD for Tacos? And can point me in that direction? TIA

Maybe I'll look after market, if I can find it in 304 stainless. The MBRP seams to be constructed from lesser quality material, why I'm looking away from it

You don't have a muffler shop in your area?

I had a local shop put a dual outlet cat back set up on 2 different Dakota's I had. A good shop will run them where ever you want...out the back, behind the rear tires, or where ever your heart desires.

Dual would make the tacoma sound much worse.

The V6 raptors have dual and it sounds like a washing machine on spin cycle.

The V6 raptor is a twin Turbo I must admit I have not heard one yet but they sound poorly??

it does exist but is a custom job. and you should ask more questions about it before mortgaging your house for two tailpipes. but you can look up Venator_2033 for some ideas.

I'm really looking for a single inlet, dual outlet muffler to run pipe on both sides. Wouldn't figure that would cost too much?

Like this, but TRD. I'm not overly fond of the MBRP brand. But I'll keep looking

well if you're not concerned with performance you can just do whatever you like, fits, and is affordable. shouldn't be too much. I'm talking about performance exhausts. all good however you go. plenty of muffler choices like that are available.

I'm sure there are. My original post was questioning whether or not a set up like this existed that was TRD. Like the dual exhaust on the Tundra. That's what I cant find.

i didn't understand what you were wanting to do... I'm still waking up. :burp:

actually what you're doing opens up tons of options. you don't need a kit, just a muffler of your choice with single in dual out. so look into what kind of muffler you want that has that config. take that to an exhaust shop with a couple tailpipes of your choice and you're gtg. catbacks often suck because you can't choose your muffler & tailpipe combo yourself.

Don't do it, these trucks sound like shit with a muffler job and duals would be even sillier. I'm still regretting my borla. It is kind of fun downshifting and driving slow past my neighbors house at night though. If I have to listen to his stupid dogs he can listen to my trucks fart can.

Heard another one in the shop today, it's awful, 90% sure it was a magnaflow.

Just sounds like regret of not buying a v8.

I'm pretty sure flowmaster makes a dual tip kit for the tacoma. However flows sound like farts on tacos.
