I pretty much agree with that. It's what I'd do. Not a whole lot more inconvenience.

I’d list it with options. 6-7 for it all......or various prices on the part out. One way or another you’ll make a chunk of dough.

So I stopped by the dyno shop yesterday to check on the truck.. again. They were still waiting for the Vibrant flanges to come in so they could finish up the exhaust. Apparently the holidays/shipping are creating all kinds of issues for them. they are waiting for parts for multiple vehicles there, and a lot of it has to do with manufactures being on backorder due to all the holiday sales. I get it, and at least I'm not the only one waiting around. BUT... they did find one flange that fits they had lying around on the shop, I took a look at it, and realized I could just make them at my shop, and IDK why I didnt realize it sooner.

So I grabbed the flange they had yesterday, brought it into work this morning, drew it up, and cut em out on the waterjet real quick. came out better than the one they had. dropped em off just a but ago, so hopefully will have the truck back tomorrow. The blower is all done, I took the NST pulley's with me to try and check what version my truck has, and just decided to hold off and wait till I get the truck back, then check/install the pulleys myself.

This has been such a process.. wish I would of realized the flange issue sooner, could have saved a week or more. I did find out though that the guy who did the garbage work on my truck originally, was fired after that... thank jeebus. fingers crossed I get it back tomorrow and all is well. They are good guys otherwise...

    Mine..

I’m thinking about parting out the entire truck. I tried to sell it without any interest.

I moved some money around so I could pay it off. I was on the eight year plan because I originally leased the truck and “wasn’t going to do anything to it”...

Once the title arrives, I’m going to try a little harder to sell it. Then, if it doesn’t sell, part it out.

I’d really like to sell the engine and SC complete. I doubt I can find all of the parts to get it back together and running in stock form at this point.

    Thanks for the input guys

Welp, Tim, you do things wholesale and not half ass for sure. I have stock exhaust manifolds, stock intake and stock injectors, along with the stock surge tank and bracketry as well.

Ha! Thanks guys. I’m going to try to sell the whole truck again first. I’ll make a thread and post the link here if it gets to a part out.

I was just curious what you all thought the engine and trans may be worth.

Would be perfect for a guy with a 4 banger. Especially a regular cab. I could give them the ECU as well.

And there’s no going back to stock on this truck... Tubbed for 37s with the cab mount moved back 3”, gussets, reinforcements, boxing everywhere, frame chopped off 8.5” out back when I built the flatbed, etc.

i think you should sell the complete truck as is. hold out for the right buyer. if you part it out you may make more but it would be a lot more work and time.
