What would be a good deal on a 1st gen Tacoma shell/frame. I’m trying to swap my old engine into a new body.

Depends greatly on condition, location, cab style, color, interior, transmission. Would need to see pictures to offer a fair assessment.

I live in Tennessee so most vehicles don’t have rust. Say if everything was fine but just needed an engine and a couple extra parts.

Not everybody will agree on this. Personally I would pay around $2,500 to get exactly what I want with a bad engine knowing that I can do an engine swap and refresh for another $1,500 to $2,500 to build something really good.
For me, engine problems are easy to fix.

Myself a Bad engine to me the vehicle has a base price of scrap value.

It can`t be driven no road test .

Then if it has better then 1/2 tread tires add a few hundred

Sheet metal not more then 3 different colors

    At most maybe $1000.00

That sounds fair enough. I’ll keep all that noted down
