    Chromoly CVs, those are nice but really expensive lol. They're notoriously strong but the problem with super strong Chromoly CVs is that the CV is no longer the weakest leak in the system and the stress gets transferred to the diff and/or Tcase instead. I'd much rather have to replace a CV axle than my front diff, axle tube, transfer case etc

    I agree they are expensive but they are 2/3rd the price of RCV's. As far as the weak link there always will be one. Things I don't want to be a week link is something that might leave you stranded and the brains behind the wheel. I wish SoloMotorSports did there Dana 44 stub axle setup in a standard length. However at stock length the U-Joint might bind.

    Interesting their comment about the outter being the weak point, almost every single CV i've broken (prob 15/16) have been on the inner side
