    Turbo? Supercharged.

I can’t tell if you’re genuinely interested, or if I’m wasting more of my time.

I’d love to hear your experience on the subject.

I'll save you some time... He added 4 pounds of boost and cracked a ringland. But before that still got beat by stock GT and SS.

Disclaimer. I have no idea if this is true but I'm bored. :argue:

I was just throwing some things out there to think about if a person decided to boost their Tacoma. Never said don’t do it, or it can’t be done. It’s turned into quite the entertainment for me. Never seen so many people who got their panties in a bunch so quickly before - and I’m not sure why.

Just keep in mind that according to the experts who have chimed in so far - I don’t know what I’m talking about, I say stupid things, and this thread is all a waste of time.

2016 Dodge Charger with the 6.4L hemi. Added a 2.9L Whipple Supercharger. I modified the kit by fabricating my own TB adapter to run a larger TB, deleted the MDS lifters, ran a smaller upper pulley and an overdrive lower pulley, forged rods and pistons, and made about 800hp at the crank on 91 octane pump gas. I did all the mechanical work myself.

Yes, it’s not a Toyota. What I was just trying to say earlier is that it is A LOT of work and not as easy as just slapping parts together and calling it a day. There are many considerations. Can it be done? Absolutely. Just be aware of what you’re getting yourself into.
