    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Just looking at options. I already have a factory elocker. But my son is buying a 4runner tonight, that doesn't have a locker. I'm just curious about options to keep an eye out for... either a parts T4R Limited I could source a locker off of, or even a Taco rear end that we could replace the leaf perches with coil perches and he could get locked up in the back.

His T4R is going to be a bit of a budget build. I spend too much money on my truck... I can't start throwing all kinds of money on his too lol

Because this thread is a question that has been asked and answered 3 or 4 times already.

    It became :deadhorse:

And the thread title is "1st Gen Rear End Question" Which is what I asked about.

If it were me, I'd run an aftermarket locker in that 8.4, and not worry with the e locker. The 8.4 is a stronger set up, the 8" with the locker is a different carrier. I did the opposite and swapped a e locker 8" for an 8.4 because the better carrier design

I know this is off topic but does anyone have experience with an remanufactured brake booster? Or would a used Toyota booster be a better bet?

Mine came from Amazon. Been fine for 3 years.

    I think it was $90.

Never having a father I really have no idea

I could see giving them a extra hand or advice .
