    Hey guys!

I've been searching everywhere on internet for idea but I can find anything.

How the fuck do you guys route your harness front my aux backups lights to the battery to a switch?!

I'm good for the battery, to relay, to switch... It's from the bed to the battery my problem. I don't want to use a random plug underneath the truck. Maybe by the same place where the tail lights get inside? But where is that, I can't find it... Do I follow that harness?!

My power line from my battery to the tail light for bed lights is run along the frame rail with zip ties. I started by pulling the tail light, then it drops down to the frame.

I put mine on an add-a-fuse on the interior panel, to the switch, then a + and - (grounded under the dash) out through the plug under the drivers seat along the main harness on top of the frame back past the fuel tank to the rear. Cable-tied everything secure and called it done.

I spliced an extension. But that was for the switch inside the cabin, my power harness reached the battery, thank goodness

Thanks guy, I'll check more tomorrow. I just don't want any water to get inside the cab. I feel that is I use a random plug under the cab, some water could get inside and do some damage over time...

And fuck, pre-made harnesses are great! I'm building mine from scratch. I think it will look pretty solide a the end...

The plugs under the seat have grommets, pull out the grommet, slice a hole, run the wire through and pop it back in.. it won’t float but it will keep enough water out..
