Got the 2195 code last week. Stated bank 1 sensor 1 stuck lean. So I replaced the drivers side sensor on the manifold with a Bosch sensor from AutoZone. Now I am getting P0138 also. Which is bank 1 sensor 2. What gives!

I am going to try cleaning the MAF sensor in the morning. Is it true what I've read about our engines being picky about brand of sensor?

When one O2 sensor goes out, it's best to replace both of them because when one goes out, the other likely does too. Most members have the best luck with OEM O2 sensors. Cleaning the MAF may help, but it most likely won't.

Thought I would close up this thread with an update/solution. Evidently, Bank 1 is on the PASSENGER SIDE on our trucks. I had originally replaced the drivers side upstream sensor. I forget where I read it, but the side with #1 cylinder is bank 1. I put the new sensor in the right spot, luckily kept the one I took out of the passenger side. I have about 50 miles on the truck now, NO CODES!

Thought this info would help someone else.

    Bank 1 sensor 1 location
    Bank 1 sensor 2 location
    Bank 2 sensor 1 location
    Bank 2 sensor 2 location

Help! Looking for some advice. I have a 2011 Tacoma Crew Cab with 6 cylinder engine with about 50K miles on it and both the "Check Engine" and "slip Indicator" lights came on. I attached my scanner and Code P2195 came up. I erased the code and made sure the gas cap was properly connected and drove 15 miles, starting and stopping a couple of times. The "Check Engine" and "slip Indicator" lights came on again and I checked and the code P0138 now came up. What do you recommend? Can I simply replace the Bank 1 Sensor 1 and Bank 1 Sensor 2 devices with ones I can buy at Amazon for about $35 each? Should I buy the OEM parts for $150 each? In the past I attempted to replace the O2 sensor on my 2004 RAV4 and I had a very difficult time getting the bad one out. Or, should I bite the bullet and let the dealer do the work. I would appreciate any advice on this topic. Thanks.
