Hopefully me and a buddy are gonna get mine installed Monday unless he backs out, that makita impact he’s got would make this project cake.

I’ve never had an issue with mine and many many people haven’t either. I’d recommend them to folks.

An impact makes a big difference, but it won’t fit on all of them. An air ratchet made mine go quicker

Yea I forgot I got a 1/2 drive air ratchet I just figured my air impact wouldn’t be strong enough it’s week, did you change all your shackle bushings when you did it? Kinda thinking about just slapping them in the springs being lazy

It really boils down to are you going to be abusing the springs hard enough to justify paying more for other springs. I will likely upgrade at some point way down the road but I’ve had no issues with the Dakar’s so far besides the squeaking. A little fluid film and squeaks are all gone!

Lol I could handle that meal and beer, that's what I offered my buddy but he'll be more drinking help than actual help. I'll let you know, I keep thinking this would be a good excuse to buy a hi lift too.

Brian told me you should change the nuts on them when you take them off. Supposedly one time use although I had my off at least twice. Plan to replace them next time.

Never mind. Referring to flip bolt nuts.
