So since I got my Christmas shopping done early it's time to do some shopping for myself. Looking to buy an awning to install on my caprack and came across one by TJM. It is currently on sale at BOSS4X4 for $200 shipped, which is only about $50 more than the Smittybilt one, but still almost $125 less than an ARB. I've tried searching both on here and on Google but can't find much info about it, although I did find links to reviews of some other TJM products and almost all of them were quite positive. Anyone have any first hand experience with this awning?

Someone did a TJM group buy last year or year before, I think it was @LikeABoss4x4.

Not many issues that I can recall. Seems like a decent buy, go for it.

A search result on here was for that group buy, which was were I first heard about TJM, but I just couldn't find much more info or much feedback on them.

So I went ahead and pulled the trigger on one. I found some discussion on an Australian forum about TJM awnings and tents and one of the posts mentioned that the company that makes these for TJM is also the company that manufactures the ARB awnings. Not sure if this is true or not, but I guess I'll see what it looks like when it gets here in a week or 2.

Ningbo Wincar is the manufacturer of TJM, and supposedly for ARB as well. They’re fine, and there’s probably 30 other brand names for the same awning. Most of the random “overland” brands you can think of are buying and rebranding the same stuff as the next guy, all from a handful of manufacturers in Guangdong.
